What to expect

Meet in the car park at Chalk Hill Wines, where your hosts
will greet you. We'll talk you through how to use an electric bike, fit you up
with a helmet and ensure the seat is in the correct position for your height.
Then there'll be an opportunity to ride the bike and get a feel for it before
the tour begins.

Richard Hamilton Wines

Our first stop on the Mclaren Vale Winery Tour is a tasting
at Richard Hamilton Wines around 11am. With five generations in viticulture,
Richard Hamilton wines has a long history of producing award winning wines. The
Hamilton's are one of the earliest winemaking families in South Australia,
first setting up vineyards in 1838. The Richard Hamilton Wines cellar door is
set amongst beautifully manicured gardens with expansive views across its vineyards.

Foggo Wines or Haselgrove Wines

Depending on the day and the number of people on the wine
tour,  our next stop will be a wine tasting at either Foggo Wines or Haselgrove Wines around 12.15pm.

Foggo wines is a boutique vineyard known for its extensive
collection of fortified wines (10 in total) alongside a selection of boutique
wines.

Haselgrove wines is a premium winemaker specialising in
small batch, high quality handcrafted wines. It boasts an architecturally
designed rooftop cellar door with 360-degree views across its vineyards.

Lunch at Chalk Hill Winery

To finish the wine tour, we'll cycle back to Chalk Hill
Winery (around 1.30pm) where we'll stow the bikes and indulge in a gourmet Pinsa
lunch whilst enjoying the stunning views.
